"Three women trekking the wilderness alone on bicycles? Preposterous!"
Addie, Betsy and Von become fast friends as they shape plans to bicycle across the width of southern Canada. Society in 1938 rarely made space for women outside of domestic life, much less venture into the world unchaperoned by their fathers, brothers or husbands. How will the threesome navigate the physical demands of such a ride while also contending with daunting social resistance to their break from cultural norms. Adventure and adversity accompanies the women with every turn of their wheels,  becoming the bonds of a lifelong sisterhood.
